If I hire you for my event, what do you include?

When you book with me for your next event, you have several exciting options to choose from! I offer a variety of packages that can be customized to fit the vibe and needs of your celebration. From a stunning, large-scale painting that I will create live for your guests to watch and enjoy, to an interactive experience where your guests can receive their own custom portraits painted in under 10 minutes, each option brings a unique blend of art and entertainment that adds a personal touch to your event. How much do you charge & how do you accept payment?

Pricing and package details are in their descriptions, outlining what each option includes. However, packages can be customized to better fit your needs, which may affect the price. To secure your booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking via cash, personal check, or Zelle, along with a signed contract. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the day before your event. Failure to make the final payment by the agreed date may result in cancellation. If preferred, you may also pay the full amount upfront.

Do you travel?

ABSOLUTELY! I love to travel, and I would be honored to travel wherever your special event is taking place to create some magic for you-- nationally or internationally! Airfare (or gas costs if driving) and accommodations will be discussed with you prior to booking and written in your contract/added to your final invoice. If you’re located within an hour of metro-Detroit, no travel fee will be charged!

I saw this style of art I love on (insert social media here). Would you do our piece in that style? Or would you do caricatures?

I’ve dedicated a LOT of time to exploring, refining, and truly falling in love with my unique approach to creating art. My style is designed to allow me to craft custom pieces quickly, all while maintaining a sense of originality and individuality. I take pride in never replicating another artist’s style—each piece I create is entirely my own. If you're drawn to a particular style that isn’t mine, I wholeheartedly encourage you to reach out to that artist instead!

What materials do you use? Do I need to provide anything?

I use only high-quality, archival materials to ensure your custom artwork stands the test of time. My pieces are created with Derwent Inktense watercolors, known for their fade-resistant, vibrant finish, along with archival black ink for fine details. For larger live illustrations, I work on Arches Watercolor paper in the size you’ve chosen. For guest portraits, I use 300gsm standard watercolor paper. You won’t need to provide any materials—just a table and chairs for live guest portraits, as outlined in the package details.

What will my artwork look like? Do you have examples of your guest portraits?
